Yes. The Free plan is free forever, no card required. You get up to 50 MB per file, 3 custom links, 3 short links, and 15,000 views a month. That is already more generous than most paid entry plans elsewhere.

Yes: the AI connector works on every plan, including Free. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your account once, then just ask it to publish a site for you, no coding and no API key needed. That is different from the REST API below, which is a paid feature: the connector needs no upgrade at all.

It is optional. Paid plans include a generous monthly view allotment. If you expect to go over, you can opt in to pay-as-you-go and pay $1 per extra 100,000 views, billed only for what you actually use. Prefer a fixed bill? Leave it off and you are never billed beyond your plan price.

Nothing stops working. Your account stays active, your existing links are never deleted, and your pages keep being served. The included views are what we count for billing, not a switch that turns your links off, so with pay-as-you-go off you are simply never billed beyond your plan price. If you regularly need more headroom, upgrade or turn pay-as-you-go on.

Any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of your billing period. If you downgrade, your existing files and links keep working, you simply cannot create new ones beyond the lower plan's limits.

Yes. Every paid plan comes with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy within 7 days of your payment, email us at contact@uploadthefile.com and we will refund you in full. Refunds are handled personally by our team, there is no automated, self-service refund flow, so just reach out by email and we will take care of it. The guarantee covers plan subscriptions only. Domain registrations are non-refundable. A domain is purchased on your behalf the moment you order it.
