- Does the video play in the browser?
- Yes. MP4, WebM, and MOV open in the browser’s built-in player on phones, tablets, and computers. The recipient just taps the link and watches, no app to install.
- How big a video can I share?
- Up to 30 MB with no account, or up to 50 MB on the free plan. A paid plan raises that all the way to 1 GB. You send a link, not an attachment, so the 25 MB email cap and SMS/iMessage size limits never apply.
- Do I need an account?
- No. You can drop a video and get a link without signing up. Signing in free raises the limit to 50 MB and keeps your links live longer.
- How long does the link stay live?
- Anonymous links last 48 hours. Sign in free and your links stay live for 30 days. When a link expires it simply stops resolving, no crippled preview mode.
- Do I have to compress or convert it?
- No. We host the original file as-is, so quality stays intact, no re-encoding it down to fit an email or message. Very large clips (MKV and AVI included) can still be shared as a download link.
