How it works
Upload your PDF
Drop a PDF onto the box above to publish it at its own link. Sign in with a free account so you can manage it from your dashboard.
Turn on AI chat
In your dashboard, enable chat on the PDF. We read the document's text and prepare it so questions are answered from what is actually in the file.
Share the link
Send the link. Anyone who opens it sees a chat box beside the PDF and can ask questions about the document, with no account required to read or ask.
Why share a chattable PDF
Readers find answers fast
Instead of scrolling a long report, the people you share with can just ask, and the assistant answers from the document's own text.
Answers grounded in the file
Chat is prepared from the text we extract from your PDF, so replies stay tied to what the document actually says rather than guessing.
Free to turn on
AI PDF chat is included on every plan, the free one included. Paid plans lift the limits on how many PDFs you can make chattable and how long each can be.
Frequently asked questions
Is chatting with a PDF really free?
Yes. AI PDF chat is included on every plan, free included. You can enable it on a PDF and share a link where readers ask questions, without paying. Paid plans raise the limits.
Who can chat with the document, me or the people I share with?
Both. You enable chat as the owner, and anyone who opens the shared link gets the same chat box beside the PDF. Readers do not need an account to ask questions.
How many PDFs can I make chattable?
The free plan lets you turn on chat for a small number of PDFs, and paid plans make it unlimited. Longer documents are supported too, with a higher page limit on paid plans.
How accurate are the answers?
Answers are generated from the text we extract from your PDF, so they reflect what the document contains. As with any AI assistant, it is wise to double-check anything important against the source pages, which stay right there in the viewer.
What kinds of PDFs work best?
Text-based PDFs such as reports, guides, contracts, papers, and manuals work best, because chat is built from the document's text. Very long files are trimmed to a supported length, which is larger on paid plans.
